Williamson County, Tennessee

I spent last Thursday in Tennessee with my family and some good family friends who live outside Nashville.

We started the day with a big breakfast at Country Boy Restaurant in Leiper’s Fork, about 40 minutes southwest of Nashville.

Isn’t it cute inside?  It’s very down-home and Southern.

French toast at Country Boy Restaurant

My sister had their French toast with bacon and said it’s the best she’s ever had.

Prince William has even eaten there!

Sorry to name drop, but it’s not very often I eat at the same restaurant as Prince William!  Or…ever.

Pucketts Leiper's Fork

After breakfast we stopped into Puckett’s, a well-known grocery store/ restaurant/music venue across the street from Country Boy.

Next door is Joe Naturals Farm Store & Cafe.

My pretty mom and sister in Joe Naturals.   That’s our friend Joshua in the background (in the baseball cap, not the chef holding the vegetables.) We checked out a few more places in Leiper’s Fork before heading into downtown Franklin.

We started with frozen yogurt at Sweet Cece’s then checked out a few of the shops.

The Iron Gate Franklin Tennessee

One of our favorites was The Iron Gate on Main Street.

I loved the coral on the shelves in the back of the store.
